Woman dies

A 25-year-old woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances in her house at Addagutta on Monday morning. The victim, P. Suguna's relatives alleged that her husband Mohan killed her by setting her ablaze. Mohan's first wife Anjamma also died in a similar manner two years ago, they alleged. The police took Mohan into custody and are interrogating him.

Farmer ends life

A farmer who attempted suicide by consuming poison in his house at Rachalur village in Kandukur on Thursday, died while undergoing treatment at the Osmania General Hospital (OGH) on Sunday. T. Narasimha (42) ended his life as he incurred heavy debts, according to the police.

Killed in accident

A salesman was killed after a lorry collided with his motorcycle at Ayodhya junction in Saifabad on Sunday. The police said P. Anil Kumar (22) was a resident of Godi-ka-kaber in the old city.

Man commits suicide

A 28-year-old man succumbed to injuries at OGH on Sunday. According to the police, Raj Kumar attempted suicide by immolating himself with kerosene at his house in Gangabowli on Friday after his parents allegedly reprimanded him for not going to job. He was admitted to the OGH where he died on Sunday while undergoing treatment.
