Nehru FC posts win

Madurai: Balasubramanian's goal in the 27th minute helped Nehru Football Club beat TVS Soccer Club 1-0 in the Madurai District Football Association `A' division league at the Madura College ground here on Thursday.

Goalless draw

At Karaikudi, Black Friends FC (Kottaiyur) held Alagappa University College of Physical Education to a goalless draw in the Sivagangai District Football Association `A' division league at the AUCPE ground.

Kabaddi tournament

The SPIC Central Sports Council will organise the SPIC Trophy district-level kabaddi tournament at the SPIC Nagar ground (Tuticorin) under floodlights from January 19 to 21.
