U-11 footballers for Kolkata

NEW DELHI: A 22-member team of under-11 footballers from the S.N. Roy Soccer Academy will play five exhibition matches in Kolkata from December 24 to 29.

The team will be accompanied by three coaches — Tarun Roy, Arun Roy and Sandeep Dhole. One of the matches, to be played in Howrah, will be a benefit for former international Sudip Chatterjee, who passed away recently.

According to Tarun Roy, also a former international, the players for this tour were picked from a selection tournament held here from December 8 to 10.
