Lecturer ends life

BANGALORE: A college lecturer, Tarabhai (56), allegedly committed suicide by setting herself ablaze at her Balepet house in the Upparpet police station limits on Wednesday. She died at the Victoria Hospital here on Thursday morning.

The police said Tarabhai was undergoing treatment in NIMHANS and was depressed in life.

The Upparpet police have taken up a case of unnatural death.
