BEML clinches title

Mysore: BEML (Mysore) hoopsters retained the MDBA league title for men by winning their last league encounter against Nationals SC 108-97 in extra time after being level at 90-90 at full time at the Subbarayanakere courts here on Sunday. Ravi (35) and Ramakanth V. Rao (28) played well for the winner, while Naveen (25) and J.B. Joshan (24) impressed for the loser.

The prizes were given away by Jayaram, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Mysore.

The scores: BEML (Mysore) 108 (Ravi 35, Ramakanth V. Rao 28) bt Nationals SC 97 (Naveen 25, J.B. Joshan 24).
