NCC camp from January 6

Its aim is to promote friendship among cadets


  • It seeks to create awareness on cultural heritage of India
  • Activities involve travelling to historical spots and voluntary work

    BANGALORE: Karnataka and Goa National Cadet Corps (NCC) Directorate will conduct an "All India Integration Camp" for all NCC wings (infantry, naval and air force) at Scouts Bhavan in Kondaji near Davangere from January 6 to January 17. There will be 23 officers and 624 cadets of the senior division, senior wing, junior division and junior wing from different States participating at the camp.

    Commanding Officer 33 Karnataka Bn of NCC, D.N. Gupta, says, "The aim of the camp is to foster closer friendship and develop greater emotional integration among NCC cadets from across the country. It also aims to create awareness among them on the cultural heritage of the country."

    The activities planned, including visits to places of historical and religious importance around Davangere, such as Hampi, Hospet, Jog Falls, Harihar, Chitradurga and Sirigere, and voluntary work in the local community.
