Chukka Ramaiah to address meeting on IIT issue in Adilabad

ADILABAD: Educationist Chukka Ramaiah will address a meeting on December 28 at the DIET college grounds in Adilabad in connection with the demand for sanction of IIT at Basar. Representatives of Basar IIT Sadhana Samiti on Tuesday told reporters that the relay hunger strike camp would be held in front of the collectorate. Adilabad Member of Parliament T. Madhusudan Reddy visited the camp and extended his support to the demand for an IIT at Basar.

Also, members of the Adilabad Bar Association submitted a memorandum to the District Revenue Officer B. Bharathi Lakhpathi Naik making the demand.
