Building demolished

Bangalore Mahanagara Palike personnel demolished an unauthorised building on Church Street on Saturday.

A release said that the Joint Commissioner (East) had sanctioned a plan for constructing a commercial building on Site No. 29/1, Church Street.

But the owners had deviated from the original sanctioned plan while constructing the building.

Power shutdown

There will be no power supply from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday in parts of the city owing to work by BESCOM. The affected areas include PIA, Rajagopalanagar, and Rajeshwarinagar. Consumers may call Ph: 12660 and lodge complaints free of cost.
