Man killed in road accident

Bangalore: One person died and another was injured in a road accident near T. Begur in Nelamangala police station limits on Wednesday.

The police gave the name of the deceased as Srinivas (24). The police said that an unidentified vehicle hit the two-wheeler Srinivas was riding. The pillion rider's identity was yet to be ascertained. He had sustained head injuries and had been admitted to NIMHANS, the police said.

Body found

The body of a man was found in a field near Shanubhoganahalli in Tavarekere police station limits. The police gave the name of the victim as Narayana Rao of Shanubhoganahalli.

They said that Narayana Rao, who went out on Monday morning, did not return home.

On Tuesday afternoon, passers-by noticed his body in a field. Investigation is on.
