Tragedy in Doda district

MANGLED REMAINS: The wreckage of a State Transport Corporation bus that fell into the Chenab River near Prem Nagar in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. Twelve persons were killed and 50 injured in the accident. Eight of the injured were in a serious condition. The bus was on its way from Kishtwar to Jammu. The police and jawans of 26 Rashtriya Rifles swung into rescue operations.
