Roping in youngsters

BANGALORE: Mobile phone manufacturers are now competing to organise events for the youth. Every brand wants to associate themselves with a youth fest here and a mega event there. Nokia, for instance, organised a global music event called "Nokia's New Year's Eve" in five countries.

The artist line-up for the event held at Mumbai, had the likes of ace music composer A.R. Rahman and Bollywood actors Priyanka Chopra, Koena Mitra and Shahid Kapoor.
