COIMBATORE: PSG College of Arts and Science, in association with the Environmental Mutagen Society of India (EMSI), will organise here an international conference on `Biomarkers in Health and Environmental Management' from January 10 to 12. It will discuss environmental pollutants, identify biomarkers, and aim at the application of research findings in the prevention of diseases, said Sheela Ramachandran, Principal of the College, in an interaction with reporters on Saturday. It would focus on the application of biomarkers in prevention of diseases arising as a result of environmental pollution, she said. Delegates from over 16 countries including the US, the UK, Japan, Germany, Austria and Canada are also expected to participate apart from around 250 delegates from the country. Students from various universities in the country will also take part.
