BHEL secures Rs. 380 cr. turnkey contract

TIRUCHI: Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has secured a turnkey contract for renovation, modernisation and upgrading of two thermal generating units of Guru Nanak Dev Thermal Plant (GNDTP) at Bhatinda in Punjab. The Punjab State Electricity Board has placed the order worth about Rs. 380 crore on the company for renovation and modernisation of 2 x 110 MW units at GNDTP, says a BHEL release.
