Power shutdown

There will be no power supply on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. as KPTCL proposes to carry out emergency maintenance works at Somanahalli 220/66 kV Station. The areas affected are Brigade Software Park, Sarakki Gate, Gangadharanagar, Vivekananda Colony, Pragathipura, Hari Colony, Ramakrishnanagar, Family Mart, all blocks of Jayanagar, Muniswamy Layout, MTB Industrial Area, Corporation Layout, Tilaknagar, South End, Sakamma Garden and surrounding areas.

`Water adalat'

Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board will hold "water adalat" on Friday at the office of the assistant executive engineer, East-2 sub division from 9.30 a.m. Grievances and disputes of consumers under the jurisdiction of Indiranagar, Jeevan Bima Nagar and HAL II Stage service stations could get their grievances redressed.

No Janata Darshan

There will be no Janata Darshan programme of Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy on January 13 as it is a second Saturday and general holiday, said an official release.

HOPCOMS open

The HOPCOMS outlets in Bangalore will remain open on Sunday and Monday despite the general holidays, said HOPCOMS managing director P. Vishwanath through a press release.
