Annual sports day conducted at Puttaparthi

ANANTAPUR: The annual sports day celebrations of Satya Sai Educational Institutions were held in Hill View stadium at Puttaparthi in the district on Friday in the presence of Satya Saibaba. Students from Puttaparthi, Anantapur and Bangalore campuses presented several shows and feats.

The event began with lighting of lamp by Satya Saibaba. He was greeted by elephant Sai Geeta and the students on his arrival at the stadium.

Boys and girls, men and women from the three campuses participated in breathtaking events like motorbike riding, para-gliding, rock-climbing, gymnastics among others.

District Collector D. Kadmiel, Inspector General of Police A. Sivanarayana, DIG of Police N. Jayarami Reddy, Chittoor MP D.K. Adikeshavulu Naidu and others participated.
