BANGALORE: It is an effort to promote the habit of letter writing in the era of Internet and cell phones. The Sambhrama Sourabha Cultural Association will organise a Sankranthi Kannada letter writing competition for children and the general public. Founder of the association Sanjeev Kulkarni told presspersons here on Friday that the competition was being organised to celebrate Sankranthi by expressing feelings through words to grand parents, relatives and friends. Letters should be in Kannada on the Sankranthi festival to relatives, friends and grandparents, addressing them by their names. The letters should have the name, address and telephone number and they should reach Sambhrama Sourabha, 1102/25, Sreenivasa Nilaya, 8th Main, 9th Cross, Ashoknagar, Banashankari 1st Stage, 2nd Phase, Bangalore 560050, by January 20.
