Good tidings for anganwadi workers

BANGALORE: Minister for Women and Child Welfare H.K. Kumaraswamy has said the Government is planning to increase salary of anganwadi workers from Rs. 1,550 to Rs. 2,000 per month and that of assistants from Rs. 750 to 1,000. This will cost Rs. 25 crore more to the Exchequer.
