Vasan Eye Care to set up hospital in city

CHENNAI: Vasan Eye Care Hospital has tied up with city-based Prem's Eye Clinic to set up a hospital in Chennai soon.

The multi-specialty hospital, will come up at Prem's Eye Clinic's Saidapet facility. Its chairman A.M Arun said on Thursday that the facility will be branded as `Vasan Eye Care Hospitals - Associate: Prem's Eye Clinic' with infrastructure being put in by the Vasan Group. The services will include, advanced cataract and refractive surgery, vitreo retinal surgery, glaucoma and neuro-ophthalmology and paediatric ophthalmology. The eye care hospital is also planning to set up seven more surgical centres at Adyar, Tambaram, Purasawalkkam, Nungambakkam, Porur, Tondiarpet and Avadi by the end of 2007.
