Embroidery training

Jan Shikshan Sansthan will organise a free training programme in embroidery, fabric painting and other skills as part of its employment generation activities. The programme will be held for 20 days from January 24. The venue will be Jan Shikshan Sansthan training centre, Kasi Visweswara Bhavan, says its director Nagalla Vidya Khanna.

Health camp

Noted plastic surgeon A. Ravikumar said that with plastic surgery, immediate treatment could be given for burns and physical disabilities could be prevented. Addressing a health camp held at Vasavya Nursing Home, he said lack of awareness was creating problems for many patients who were not taking timely care. Dr. G. Samaram and others were present.

Students of Central Academy have secured good ranks in the professional courses of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Y. Kranthinath of the academy got third rank in the test. Directors Maruthi and Sridhar said that hard work, discipline and planning were behind the success of their students.
