South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce president K. Rajagopal, on Monday, inaugurated The Indo-Russian Film Club here. Mr. Rajagopal said the new club would help strengthen the bond between the two countries. "I request the governing body of the Club to popularise their monthly programmes regularly." Club President Roosvelt said two films would be screened every month. Professor Alexander Dubiyanski, exhibitor Karunakaran, Russian Centre director Stanislav I. Simakov and actor Vimala Raman spoke. Director K. Balachander's film "Poi" was screened.
