The School has been one of the few government-run schools that has consistently produced good results in the past several years. Quite a few of its students have taken up professional courses such as engineering and medicine. The school's students have won the `Talk your way to Japan' for five years consecutively.

Ms. Tasleema told her juniors that the profession they would choose was only for a living but it was what they achieved through the profession that was more important.

She said she would like to "do what I can to help" the teachers who devoted their time and energy for the benefit of students.
