NEW DELHI: Grandmaster R.B. Ramesh stunned third seed Vadim Milov in the second round of the Gibtelecom Masters chess tournament at Gibraltar on Wednesday. Ramesh's 44-move victory was the second big surprise of the event after Irina Krush had upstaged second seed Vladimir Akopian in the first round. Besides Ramesh's triumph, the other encouraging result came from S. Vijayalakshmi who drew with Russain GM Pavel Tregubov. In the first round, Tania Sachdev had proved equal to Ukranian GM Yuriy Kuzubov. Eleven Indians are in the fray in this annual event. The results (involving Indians): Second round: R.B.
