In a row, yet again

Controversies continue to stalk Niloufer Hospital for Women and Children. Following a hue and cry over the death of infants at the hospital, the Government intervened and shifted the Superintendent and the Resident Medical Officer. Several visits were made by senior health officials and promises on improving the conditions were made.

Yet, even as the new superintendent was trying to settle down, another controversy broke out with a couple coming up with charges of their baby getting swapped. While the hospital said it was a mere confusion over name, the woman's family suspect foul play and refuse to buy the argument. Ultimately, it is up to the nuances of DNA tests to prove who was right.
