BANGALORE: Members of the Karnataka State Corporation, Municipality, Town Municipality Pourakarmikara Maha Union have urged the State Government to nominate union's secretary-general A. Jaereyem to one of its boards and corporations.

Addressing presspersons here on Wednesday, vice-president of the union Subbarayudu said the six unions of contract pourakarmikas working for the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike had chosen Mr. Jaereyem as their representative. Mr. Jaereyem was a member of the BJP State Scheduled Castes Morcha Executive Committee. "We had made a request to BJP leaders and expected that our representative would be accommodated in recent nominations. But this has not happened.
