48 breeds to participate in all-India championship dog show

Bangalore: The Mysore Kennel Club, Bangalore, will organise the 84th and 85th All-India Championship Dog Show on February 4.

B.C. Ramakrishna, president of Mysore Kennel Club, told presspersons on Thursday the show would be held on the football grounds behind Dairy Science College of the Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University, Hebbal.

The show has so far received more than 400 entries representing 48 breeds from across the country.

The show will be inaugurated by Neelam Achuta Rao, Police Commissioner, while Bipin Gopalakrishna, Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order), will give away the prizes.

R.N. Sreenivas Gowda, Vice-Chancellor, KVAFSU, will be the chief guest.
