THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : Minister for Local Self-Government Paloli Mohammed Kutty has sought changes in the Centrally-sponsored schemes to make them more helpful for the State. Addressing the first meeting of the State-level Vigilance and Monitoring Committee here on Saturday, Mr. Kutty sought the help of the MPs to put pressure on the Centre to make changes in the schemes like the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme and Prime Minister Grameen Sadak Yojana.
