Notify tribunal award, says Thirumavalavan

CHENNAI: The Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi will organise a slogan-shouting demonstration here on February 10 urging the Centre to notify the final award of the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal.

In a statement here on Tuesday, party general secretary Thol. Thirumavalavan said though Tamil Nadu did not get justice in the final award, State people would have a consolation as the issue had come to an end.

He wanted the Central Government to gazette the tribunal award at the earliest to prevent any delay in its implementation.
