Favourite location for movies

Fort Kochi is fast becoming a favourite location for the Malayalam film industry. Mohanlal's new film Chota Mumbai is being shot extensively in Fort Kochi and nearby areas.

Mammootty is in town with Big B directed by cinematographer-turned-director Amal Neerad. The movie is Amal's debut as director. Production controllers in the industry say that Fort Kochi provides that extra touch to the visuals thanks to its beach and historic spots. The place is also easily accessible to the artistes and technicians.
