Disinvestment

It is heartening to note that the Centre is resuming the disinvestment process in three public sector units in the power sector while keeping overall control ("Disinvestment back on track", Feb. 9). To smoothen the process it would be desirable to involve all the stakeholders including the employees. The Left parties need to be convinced that such disinvestment is good for the nation.
