Kurdish troops die in U.S. fire

BAGHDAD: U.S. helicopters mistakenly fired on a Kurdish position on Friday in northern Iraq, killing at least five Kurdish police, the military and Kurdish officials said. The U.S. said the attack had been intended against suspected Al-Qaeda members.
