Housing finance event

The three-day housing finance event, "Namma Mane-Swantha Mane" of ICICI Bank Home Loans began on Friday at Koramangala Indoor Stadium. The event will bring together top builders and display details about more than 150 housing projects in various prime locations, the bank said. Also offered will be a wide range of competitive home loans for different budgets and insurance options. `Janapada Jatre'

The "Janapada Jatre" to be held at Lalbagh on Saturday and Sunday will feature several folk forms such as "Chowdaki Pada", "Veeragase", "Dollu Kunita", "Kamsale", "Chennukunita", "Veeragase".

A release said that artistes from Bagalkot, Shimoga, Tumkur, Udupi, Bellary, Mysore, Chitradurga, Haveri, Hassan, Chamarajanagar, Kodagu and Bangalore would take part in the jatre starting at 6 p.m.

Coaching

Sri Veena Vaani Education, Culture and Development Trust in association with Ideation Tutorials, will offer free coaching classes to SSLC students for the academic year 2007-08. The coaching comprises a 45-day course in Kannada, Sanskrit, Science and Mathematics, which would be taught three hours a day.
