Board extends last date

TIRUCHI : The Railway Board has extended the last date to join the Liberalised Health Scheme up to December 31, 2007 for the railway pensioners, according to the Southern Railway Pensioners Association general secretary, P. Sarangapani.

In a press release issued here, Mr. Sarangapani said the facility to join the health scheme for the railway pensioners had been extended as a special case.

The association had appealed to the railway pensioners to make use of the opportunity for their medical treatment in the railway hospitals.
