Recognition for Bangalore doctor

BANGALORE: The Harvard Medical International, the international wing of Harvard Medical School of the U.S., has recognised Vivek Jawali, chief cardiovasuclar and thoracic surgeon, Wokhardt Hospitals, Bangalore for his contribution in the field of cardiac surgery, according to a press release.

The press release said that Dr. Jawali is one of the five Indian doctors selected by the Harvard faculty from among 60,000 nominations provided by the medical fraternity in India.

The others selected are Nadir Bharucha (neurology), S. Rajasekaran (orthopaedics), A. Ramachandran (endocrinology) and Hasmukh Shroff (dermatology).
