CHENNAI : The Maths Club of Madras Christian College Higher Secondary School proposes to conduct a `centum aspirants' test' for Standard XII students also, following a good response to a similar test conducted for Standard X students.

The club held the test on February 17, in which 803 students from 33 schools participated.

Sri Ahobilamath Oriental Higher Secondary School topped the list with all their candidates securing distinction. The Children's Garden's Higher Secondary School, W. P. A. S. Higher Secondary School, Singaram Pillai Boys Higher Secondary School and Kesari Higher Secondary School have bagged trophies. About 135 students were awarded merit certificates.

Though the host school's students were not included for the prize, one of its students topped with 89 per cent. The objective-type questions were aimed at helping students score high marks. No fee was collected.
