Free classes

Sevabharati will conduct free revision classes for B.Com (semester system) students.

The classes will be held at Corporation Girls High School, Rammohanapura, near Devaiah Park, between 6.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. Interested persons can call 26612730, 23460884.

Takes charge

Praveen Kumar took charge as General Manager, South Western Railway, on February 20. He was earlier the Additional General Manager, East Central Railway, Hajipur, an official press release said.

Theft detection drive

BESCOM, Vigilance division, on Saturday undertook a mass power theft detection drive in Chandrappanagara, K.S. Garden in Jayanagar Vigilance police station limits of S2 sub-division. A total of 43 cases were detected and booked under Section 135 of the Electricity Act, a press release stated.

Results announced

The results of fourth year B.Sc. Nursing (Basic - RS batch) examination conducted during October/November 2006 was released on Saturday. Details, such as marks secured in each subject, class obtained, result and names of the colleges, are available on `www.rguhs.ac.in.'

First service

The first service of Bangalore-Darbhanga weekly express began on Saturday with the train leaving Bangalore at 6.45 a.m.

The Darbhanga-Bangalore weekly express was flagged off on February 19 from Darbhanga.
