Bangalore: Property deals aren't something that can be done in a day. But when builders, developers and banks come together under one roof, it oils the transaction and makes it that much simpler for identifying and comparing projects and home-loan interest rates. People walking into the neatly laid out stalls with red carpets at The Hindu-PropertyPlus, Living Spaces - 2007, Koramangala Indoor Stadium, made brisk enquiries at every stall, clutching a sheaf of brochures. "I have taken details from Hygrevar Home & Hearth as their independent plots in Ooty interested me," said Ratna Devi, whose husband teaches at The Ootacamund High School. "I will have to have some brainstorming sessions at home and come to a decision. Hygrevar has agreed to extend the concession if I take a call the following week too," says Ratna, an employee of a bank. Kamala Shekhar is equally enthusiastic. "My brother works as ground staff at the airport and we would be moving into north Bangalore once the international airport is ready. As Aishwarya Homes deal with model townships there, a gated community is what we would be looking at." With the express highway and metro rail connections, all eyes seem to be on Devanahalli and that is the reason the developer has opened up projects there. The exhibition helps south Bangaloreans have an idea of north Bangalore offerings, feel the staff at Aishwarya Homes. "We have had some good enquiries. We hope the weekend would be decisive to many," is all they wish. "We are offering an exhibition discount of Rs. 50,000 in our package deals," said DS Max, dealing with villas and independent layouts.
Charges
"The buyer here needn't bother about charges for car park, electricity and water connection fee to the Government and generator charges. We are also getting a lot of enquiries from investors, as we have opened avenues for the interested," said a spokesperson at the stall. The Malleswaram Monarch, Rennaissance Holdings says its ongoing projects covering all directions in the city are a smorgasbord of suitable projects for all categories of pockets. "The economy class can choose from our Brookefields apartment for Rs. 2,430 per sq ft or the business class get the heavier dazzling ones with wooden flooring and electronic doors at Kumara Park for Rs. 8,000 per sq ft." The scene at the Bio-diversity Conservation (India) Limited stall (BCIL) is all verdant and green. "The story of our brick and mortar union cements eco-friendly ideas and the response is heartening as people have started realising that investing in green concepts have assured health returns. We are being loud with our sky-gardens in every flat too. This open-to-the-sky space, water-proofed and thermal insulated, will be laid with butterfly garden, herbal garden or grandma garden, as the choice may be," says Anand K. of BCIL. "We have been observing people coming to Living Spaces - 2007, who want to come out of concrete jungles," says Mr. Anand, who details the invitation that BCIL received from the Moroccan Government for eco-consultation for a mammoth township housing 1,600 villas there.
Space utilisation
Others like the Fortuna Projects, Homeland, MAK India Developers, Nigama Projects, Nandi Housing, HARA Housing and Gopalan Residency speak of concepts like best space utilisation, sturdy construction materials to stone outer-wall elevations that reduce maintenance costs. The cool offer, however, is the newly packaged Bisleri Mineral Water stall housing their new green containers with bottle-holdings, self-contained taps and breakaway seal. Natural mountain water packed from Himachal Pradesh and water with added minerals form their other offers.
