A much-preferred accompanist for Odissi dancers

BHUBANESWAR : The Ministry of Culture has awarded city-based young and promising Odissi vocalist Satyabrata Katha the senior national scholarship in the field of Odissi music this year.

An alumni of the Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Satyabrata has been a much-preferred accompanist for Odissi dancers and has performed in several music festivals across the country.

Salandi Mahotsav

Satyabrata, a native of Bhadrak district, was felicitated for his achievements during the last Salandi Mahotsav held at Bhadrak.
