KURNOOL: Two lovers attempted suicide at Nandikotkur on Saturday by consuming poison. Muntaz and Saleem had fallen in love a few years ago. The girl's parents, on learning about the affair, got her married. However, the affair continued and her husband divorced her. Muntaz's parents pressured Saleem to marry her, but he was not willing to do so. Saleem consumed poison on Saturday. The girl did the same. Both were hospitalised.
