Construction professionals in high demand

Hyderabad : There is an increasing demand for trained construction professionals and attractive career opportunities with multinational companies, said Mohd Abbas Ali, Professor of Business Management, Osmania University.

He was speaking at the awareness session on training programmes offered by National Academy of Construction and organised by the Iqa Society for Career Guidance.

There was a woeful lack of trained construction force. Unlike IT, the construction sector is labour-intensive and provides employment opportunities even to those with low educational qualification. NAC offered job-oriented training programmes, Abbas Ali said.
