NEW DELHI: The Government has given instructions for providing a passport to the Kashmiri separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani to enable him to travel abroad for treatment for suspected renal malignancy. Taking a humanitarian view, the Government cleared the way for giving him a passport at the earliest, National Security Adviser M.K. Narayanan said.
