Wright impressed with India's preparation

Port of Spain: Former India coach John Wright feels the Indian team was ``better placed'' this time than in 2003 World Cup when it reached the final during his stint.

``They are further ahead than we were in 2003. They have beaten Sri Lanka at home. At this stage they are better placed,'' Wright said. He was particularly impressed with the team's nine-wicket wicket against West Indies in its final warm-up game. — PTI
