HYDERABAD: Jayant Talukdar of Services emerged the leader with a score of 2636 points in the second FITA Round (qualifying) of men's recurve category of the inaugural National ranking archery circuit championship at the Lal Bahadur Stadium here on Saturday. Vishwas and Somai Murmu, both from SSCB, with scores of 2628 points and 2624 points followed him in that order. Isai R. Sanam, with the score of 2663 points in the men's compound category, finished in the top five of the day and progressed to the next elimination round for the first time in an event of this nature. The top five archers (after second FITA Round qualifying): Men's recurve: Jayant Talukdar (SPCB) 2636 points, Vishwas (SSCB) 2628 points, Somai Murmu (SSCB) 2624 points, Tarundeep Rai (SSCB) 2622 points, Priyank (UP) 2620 points. Men: Compound: Palton Hansda (Jhar) 2695 points, Isaia R.Sanam (AP) 2663 points, C.H. Lenin (AP) 2653 points, Sumit Misra (Jhar) 2644 points, Naresh Damor (Rlys) 2637. Women: Recurve: Dola Banerjee (Rlys) 2660 points, Chakrovolu Swuro (Naga) 2627 points, Sushma (UP) 2561 points, Reena Kumari (Rlys) 2633 points, Punya Prabha (UP). Compound: Jhanu Hansda (Jhar) 2732 points, K.H. Bhagyabati Chanu (Jhar) 2684 points, Sakro Besra (Rlys) 2657 points, Namita Yadav (Jhar) 2648 points, Sweety Kumari (Jhar) 25636 points.
