Clarification

The report "Nemmadi at last for landowners," published on March 10, gave the impression that Comat Technologies is implementing the State Government's Nemmadi project.

The Government has clarified that a consortium led by 3i Infotech, in which Comat is a partner along with N-Logue Communications, is implementing the project.

Moreover, the Nemmadi centres are not rural business centres but Government-controlled telecentres mainly for e-governance services.
