Found dead in hotel

CHENNAI : A man was found dead in a city hotel in Egmore police station limits on Wednesday.

Police identified him as Aneesh Kumar (32) of Thiruvananthapuram.

He had checked into a lodge here on Monday, informing the staff that was on an official trip.

However, when the room remained locked for a long time on Wednesday, the hotel authorities informed the police, who broke open the door and found the occupant dead.

The body has been sent for post-mortem to Government General Hospital.

Further investigation is on.
