Rally by students

Nearly 300 students who are members of National Green Corps Eco-Clubs from different high schools around Hussain Sagar lake bed took part in a rally from NTR Gardens to Sanjeevaiah Park during `Coping With Water Scarcity' programme organised on the occasion of World Water Day on Thursday.

Applications invited

The Andhra Pradesh Study Circle for Backward Classes is inviting applications from BC, SC and ST candidates for six-month free training in Computer Animation. Vocational courses

The Board of Intermediate Education has announced that 1,700 of the 2,400 candidates who have appeared for the short-term vocational courses had passed.

Eighty-one per cent passed in the first module, 78 per cent in the second module and 86 per cent in the third module. These courses will begin in all Government junior colleges from April next month.
