BDA recovers property

The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) on Friday recovered 10,233 sq ft of encroached property in HMT Layout, R.T. Nagar, worth Rs. 3.06 crore.

In an early morning operation, illegal construction that had come up on CA site no.10 of Survey No. 40 of Gangenahalli was demolished by the BDA Task Force.

Training for women

The Canara Bank Self Employment Training Institute for Rural Women, Kanakapura taluk, Bangalore Rural district, is conducting a free 30-day residential training for women in basic tailoring and garment manufacturing from April 2.
