Special trains to Kochuveli, Chennai

BANGALORE: The South Western Railway will start two special trains to Kochuveli and Chennai from April 3 and 6 respectively. The two trains will be running till the end of June.

The Hubli-Yeshwantapur-Kochuveli special (871) will leave Hubli at 1.45 p.m. every Tuesday and reach Kochuveli at 4.30 p.m. on Wednesday.

In return, it will leave Kochuveli at 12.45 p.m. on Thursday and reach Hubli at 5.30 p.m. on Friday.

It will pass through Haveri, Ranebennur, Harihar, Davangere, Birur, Arasikere, Tiptur, Tumkur, Yeshwanthpur, Banasawadi, Hosur, Dharmapuri, Salem, Erode, Podanur, Palghat, Ottappalam, Trichur, Alwaye, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Chenganaserri, Tiruvall, Chengannur, Mavelikara, Kayankulam, Quillon and Varkala. The first service from Hubli will start on April 3 and the last on June 26.

The first service from Kochuveli will be on April 5 and the last on June 28.

Chennai train

Yeshwanthpur-Chennai-Yeshwanthpur weekly special (684/683) will leave Yeshwanthpur every Friday at 9.15 p.m. and reach Chennai at 3.55 p.m. on Saturday.

In return, the train will leave Chennai at 11.30 p.m. on Saturday and reach Yeshwanthpur at 5.55 a.m. on Sunday.

The train will pass through Krishnarajapuram, Whitefield, Bangarpet, Jolarpettai, Ambur, Katpadi, Arakkonam and Perambur.

The service will start from Yeshwanthpur on April 6 and end on June 29.

The service from Chennai will start from April 7 and end on June 30.
