Some phone lines in Mogappair relinked

CHENNAI: About 3,585 BSNL telephone connections of Mogappair West Exchange, now "parented" to the Avadi OCB Exchange, will be "reparented" to the Kellys 5ESS exchange (Level 2653) at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

There will be no change in numbers. However, customers will have to reactivate Phone-Plus services and re-register passwords for STD and ISD services.

New premises

The Mogappair West Remote Switching Unit is on new premises, at PC 2/3, Mogappair Bus Stand Rod, Mogappair West.

In case of difficulty in using Phone-Plus facilities or in reregistering a password, customers can call 26532000.

Fault booking

Fault booking is at 26531191, inquiries at 26258000 and 26532000, and a special desk at 26531000.
