114 PU students debarred

BANGALORE: A total of 114 students were debarred from the ongoing II Pre-University examination for indulging in malpractice on Wednesday. The examination was conducted for Kannada and Tamil papers.

Of the debarred candidates, 49 were from Gulbarga, 31 from Bijapur, 11 each from Bagalkot and Raichur, seven from Bidar, two from Kolar, and one each from Bangalore North, Davangere and Chikmagalur districts, an official release from the Pre-University Department said.
