Mumbai: The Working Committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is likely to debate on the marketing and player agents signing up players for endorsements soon after they make an impact in the domestic tournaments. Three unnamed former BCCI Presidents have said that the player-agent nexus is ruining Indian cricket and that the captain should not be a party to selection of the Indian team. "The BCCI will ask all the member units to ask its registered players to submit contractual details of their personal endorsements. Many young players have been signed by agents in the recent past. This matter will be raised at the Working Committee and we will ask the member units to furnish details of personal endorsements. We have to study their contractual obligations without the money part. The players provide the BCCI with details without the money they get," said a BCCI official.
